Mccallum's Red Rock
This is a Jasper or Red chert type sedimentary rock quarried from Karamuramu Island in the Hauraki Gulf.
Parts of the quarry deposit have a white and yellow colouration in the rock formation, this gives the red roof chip a unique white, yellowy fleck appearance. Trade names Cedar, Cedarstone, Coffee Brown.
Pukekawa Basalt Rock
Pukekawa Quarry in Smeeds Quarry Rd. mines an Igneous Basalt Rock, which is dark grey in colour. Tradename Charcoal.
Tuahara Dacite Rock
Tuahara Quarry mines dacite rock from the eastern side of Tauhara Mountain in Taupo.This rock is relatively light weight, with a pale grey colour. Tradenames Silver Grey, Ashwood.
Organic Oyster Shell
The Oyster shell is kiln dried, crushed and screened. There are no additives.
